Turn left

I'm at work and I'm sitting at a desk with a left handed keyboard. I'm not a lefty! This is insanity of the highest water. My delete key is in the opposite place. It's like I'm in wonderland. I feel like it's distracted me all day. However I do like how the keyboard has old clattery keys. When I'm typing away I'm making lots of noise. It's great, I feel very important.

Ooher there's a bit of a telephone barney going on opposite me at the moment. Lynn is not a woman to be messed with on the phone:

'I'm not stopping you from sending your CV in! I'm giving you the address to send the CV to! You can't send your CV over the phone can you? For god's sake! A tarmac operative!'

Oh she told that aspiring tarmac operative who's boss. She slammed the phone down and everything. It's like being on Hollyoaks but in the confines of a jobcentre- Jobbyoaks!

On my afternoon break I took a trip over the road to Asda to pick up a packet of chocolate covered malted milk biscuits for mum. 88p. Y'know I was always very against malted milk biscuits as a youngling. They were all Nanny Adams would offer me when I went to visit and I was not impressed. Now Nanny Stocking was a different story. She always had a plethora of biccys for me: chocolate chip cookies, chocolate digestives, PINK WAFERS, chocolate bourbons, custard creams. Brilliant. She knows where it's at. But past biscuit grudges aside I've recently had a malted milk revelation. The chocolate covered ones aren't half bad. They have more chocolate on than your bog standard digestive and they're lighter than air. Sometimes I feel like chocolate digestives can be a bit stodgy [and then I feel like a beached whale]. So my biscuit horizons have been broadened :') I've meandered off the point though. What I really wanted to say is that on my way to Asda I crossed a small side street that said TURN LEFT in big white letters on the road :D It's like I'm in Doctor Who whilst wandering the rainy pavements of Halesowen. It was definitely the highlight of my day. 'Turn left' is a banger of a Doctor Who episode ;D
